This HDMI to USB-C adapter board is designed to be used with the Mechanic T-824 USB-C / Lightning “Tail Insertion Tester” or as a standalone HDMI breakout board. The T-824 tester performs a diode mode test on all pins in the port giving you a quick idea if there’s a problem. This adapter connects all pins on a male HDMI port to the pins of a female USB-C port allowing you to quickly do a diode test on the HDMI port of a non working device.

This HDMI to USB-C adapter board is designed to be used with the Mechanic T-824 USB-C / Lightning “Tail Insertion Tester” or as a standalone HDMI breakout board. The T-824 tester performs a diode mode test on all pins in the port giving you a quick idea if there’s a problem. This adapter connects all pins on a male HDMI port to the pins of a female USB-C port allowing you to quickly do a diode test on the HDMI port of a non working device.
DO NOT connect a USB cable into this board when it’s plugged into a HDMI device or you will damage the device! This board is for use as a standalone HDMI breakout or with the Mechanic T-824 tester ONLY.
The board comes as a kit to be assembled by the user (Black, White, and Blue PCB) or fully assembled (Green PCB). In a kit for assembly you will receive a PCB, edge mount Male HDMI port and female USB-C port (soldering required).
