Commodore C64 USB-C and Barrel Jack Power Adapter

Replace your old bulky (and potentially dangerous) Commodore power brick with this slim USB-C 5V / 9VAC Barrel Jack Power Adapter. Fits both the C64 Breadbin and the C64C.

The C64 power supply is known to fail and damage components in the computer. This replacement adapter provides 5V via a USB-C port and 9VAC via a barrel jack so you don’t need to worry about that old power brick killing your Commodore 64. I have personally been using this with my Atari 9VAC brick for the Atari 400 which has a 5.5×2.5mm plug. A 9VAC 10-15VA / 1.1A-2A capable power brick is recommended. The power adapter has a 2 Amp protection fuse for USB-C 5V power input. A 9VAC glass tube fuse protects the C64 inside the computer. The power adapter case is 3D printed in a beige color to closely match the C64.

Two barrel jack sizes are available, please choose the one you prefer:

• 5.5mm x 2.5mm (used on Atari 400 computer or Atari 1050 drive)
• 5.5mm x 2.1mm (used on Nintendo Entertainment System)
